    Tabs update

    Hey Im still here.  I have been working out at snap 4-5 times a week and my almost 5 yr old likes taking walks in the evenings.  Although with all this excersise I am not loosing only maintaining.  my shocker came when I had my physical 1st in 5 yrs and my trigliserides are through the roof.  So I am on a mission to bring them down.  Did some research online and got the right supplements and keep up the excersises now  I have to get the food in shape ,  Im workin on it.

    A.M. Exercise

    Morning exercise is going well for the 2nd week.  I started last Monday doing eliptical training for 20-40 minutes.  I did 3 mornings last week and now this a.m..  This should be more helpful than at night.  I need to start incorporating more weight training.  I do use free weights while I'm riding my bike but I need to do more.  I need to not snack at night!!  I might have to have something!  Celery is the only thing that I can think of that would be o.k.

    Weight Gain

    Carla- I am alive (back on-line)and ready to start again.  Never give up!  My husband's father died, we went on vacation for 2 weeks and now my grandfather died.  Too bad my weight loss ticker does not show weight gain?!  I now have an eliptical trainer machine next to my recumbent bike and have used both machines the last 3 nights in a row.  I have been using the bike and hand weights but not showing much for results.  I think the eliptical will really help.  I will get psyched to start low carb and a.m. exercise habits for Monday morning!

    back at it

    I am not missing just havent been able to get on lately  I am excited to  say I have been making tim e for Snap fitness.  I have gradutated  from the tread mill to the eliptical wow that is challanging.  I have been trying to mix up the machines with some free weights the trainer showed me. Now its time to get back on the eating plan  and writing down what I eat.

    starting over

    I am starting over.  Saturday I will be joining Snap fittness with my 15 yr old son.  With the play going strong weekends are shot with counting calories.  I am trying to be have on weekdays.  Test results come this week for my sons lymphnode.

    encouragement please Taba

    I have been good at excersising every day this week I am getting it in  during the afternoon it is apx a 45 min dance workout.  I am really feeling it in my body and my back.  I lost a pound.  I am trying to count calories I start out good then as the day wears on I'm not so good with keeping track.  But my husband got down on me lastnight for taking the time to excersise and paying attntion to my food so much.  It is just so frustrating because last summer he told me I needed to get in shape.  Now I am and he  is complaining.  I know some is the time of year he is a seasonal worker and is laid-off now.  Too much time at home and I start reaching for Chips Valentine candy or Carbs.  This last week I bought some organic chips hoping that will curb my tortilla (salt) craving.

    Exercise good, diet not

    Carla-Today was the 1st day I actually did cardio in the morning.  @4 miles on the recumbent bike in about 1/2 an hour.  You supposedly burn more calories if you do this in the am before eating anything.  Seemed good to me and the time seemed to go by much faster than when I exercise at night like I'm used to.  Ate chocolate last night and Mexican today.  Lots of carbs.  Start again.  Keep exercising even if it seems like it's not doing any good!

    Carla's 1st blog ever

    I have found the carb crusher ladies and will have to read a lot more!  I am on the 3rd day of induction.  I am still having caffeine and also had some sugar-free low carb candy because of pms.  Will keep trying, have decaf on hand.  I ride my recumbent bicycle 2-4 miles 4-5 nights a week.  Need to ride at least 3 mornings a week before eating to get the most out of that exercise according to Body for Life.  I would like to switch times and develop a new exercise habit.  I would also like to use my treadmill and weights on a scheduled basis.  I am getting ready to set that schedule!
